If you have some weird behavior going on, this is a good place to start troubleshooting. Uses a free software tool (autoruns) to identify and disable add-on software that may be the problem. You can also re-enable it with these tool so you do not need to go through the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling software that you want.
Another free tool CCleaner is used to clean off the junk.
